Our vision
Our mission? To offer affordable watches
inspired by personalities from the 19th and
20th centuries, highlighting art and culture.
Watchmaking has almost always used hands. But today, we spend more and more time looking at screens, and reading the time in the traditional way is becoming more difficult for younger generations.
We are committed to simplifying the reading of time by creating watches with a digital display on rotating discs, while retaining the nobility of watchmaking mechanics.
We set ourselves the challenge of creating only watches without hands, something no brand has ever done throughout History.

Signification
AUREC stands for “La AURora de un RECuerdo”.
(The Dawn of a Memory) in Spanish.
The origins of the founder's family.
Every life event is the beginning of a memory.
The watch, the ultimate temporal object, bears witness to this past.
Both for having lived them and for making them last.
Our watches are imagined and designed to help you stand out, because there is nothing worse for our own identity than to look like everyone else.
AUREC's identity embodies both a connection to the past, for its inspirations, and
the future, for the memories that the watches will leave in the lives of their owners.
Artistic inspiration
We create pieces inspired by old centuries, featuring a sophisticated complication that enjoyed its heyday at the beginning of the last century: the jump hour complication.
The design is conceived and crafted to pay tribute to these women and men,
masters of their art.
The first model, the “Tarrega,” is inspired by the world of music, through the
pioneer of modern classical guitar, Francisco Tárrega.
Whether it is the hour window for the rosette of the guitar, the shape of the lugs which are directly inspired by the head of the instrument, the lines of the dial for the strings, and above all, the portrait on the back of the watch, everything has been meticulously crafted to revive the memory of these artists, sometimes forgotten, who shaped modern art.
